OnTrack doesn't have to be so tedious and time sucking.
Chuck is a modern tool to power through scheduling.
ChuckTrack signs in to OnTrack for you and reads and writes the same schedule it already holds. Nobody has to switch systems. You just stop the tedium. If your schedule is relatively stable you can finish an entire month in under ten minutes.

The grid itself. Names shown here are made up.
OnTrack wasn't built for the people making the schedules
It serves the needs of accounting and corporate, not the front line managers and directors. That much is visible in the software itself, not just in how it feels to use.
- The OnTrack system uses old tech. It was not built recently, and gets essentially no updates, and it shows.
- Its own save endpoint replaces, it doesn't patch: send it one shift for someone who has five, and it deletes the other four. ChuckTrack always re-reads the whole week first, so that mistake isn't reachable from this end.
- Everyone on the grid shows up as full name and role, like “Robert Johnston (Security Officer III).” ChuckTrack shows “Bob,” because that is what you actually call him and we know what he does.
Even the people just checking their schedule can't stand it
These are reviews of TeamWork OnTrack phone app for staff, which hasn't been updated in years just like the system itself. Public, on the record, and averaging 2.21 out of 5 across 24 App Store ratings as of this writing.
“I'm unable to see my schedule on the ‘my schedule’ area which then doesn't allow me to pickup/release any shifts, very very inconvenient.”
Kenzieeee!, Apple App Store, Nov 2024
“Would be nice if it let you know of schedule changes or to sync with google calendar”
Google Play review, Apr 2021
“Trash app... only use it because of my job... can't even see my schedule half of the time”
Google Play review, Sep 2019
That second one is table stakes for ChuckTrack. Every person on the schedule gets a calendar link. It updates itself when the schedule changes. No app, no login, just a subscription their phone already knows how to read.
Nobody in corporate is going to replace OnTrack
It works, technically, and ripping out labor software somebody else chose is a fight nobody wants to start. So this isn't that fight. OnTrack stays the system of record; ChuckTrack is what sits on top of it for leaders who have wasted enough time fighting the tool.
You can start using ChuckTrack this week, on your own schedule, without anyone else's sign-off.
